Roaches

During this project, I created the hud that was used throughout the game's development. The hud showed the player's health bar, sprint bar, and the different abilities the player can be used. It also was used to help combine other scripts. I also created a mini-map to be used by the player to see where their exit was. At the start of the development, our levels were too big, and found that our playtesters would easily get lost throughout our levels.

 

However, further through development are levels were shortened and we no longer needed a map for each level. Another thing that I worked on that ended up being scrapped was the teleporter I created that would warp the too new areas in the game. It didn't make it to the final game.

 

I helped locate and fixed bugs my colleagues and I found during the development of this group project. I also conducted gameplay evaluations with the project team, providing feedback and suggestions to help fine-tune and improve previous past projects. I oversaw designing the layout and mechanics for level 7.  No to mention I designed the pause menu, credit scene, and the ending cut scene.
